Shakti Corporation of Georgia was founded back in 1990 by Mr. George Patel. This Corporation started off small running multiple C-stores across Georgia and South Carolina. As the company matured it shifted its ventures to the hospitality business in 2008 when the company broke ground on its first hotel which was a Best Western Plus by Best Western International. After the success they had with their first property. The company added another hotel to their portfolio which was a Comfort Suites by Choice Hotels International and have a new Fairfield inn & suites by Marriott International in the pipeline. This company started off small however due to the determination of its members it has grown to a remarkable level over the years, after speaking to members of this team they say there just getting started!
